Trip starts and ends in Banff, Alberta
Day 1 (Sunday) — Banff to Revelstoke: A Scenic Kickoff
Your adventure begins at the Banff Train Station, where you’ll meet your guides and group before embarking on a scenic transfer across the Continental Divide. Marvel at the breathtaking landscapes of Banff and Yoho National Parks before heading through the wild beauty of Glacier and Mt. Revelstoke National Parks. Upon arriving in the charming town of Revelstoke, enjoy a relaxing acclimatization ride through the stunning Columbia Valley. Wrap up your day with a group dinner and take in the mountain-town vibes.

Day 2 — Revelstoke to Halcyon Hot Springs: Ride, Ferry, Relax
Start your day with a ride down the spectacular Columbia River valley, surrounded by towering peaks and lush greenery. After a delicious riverside lunch at Shelter Bay, hop on a ferry across Upper Arrow Lake. Your destination: Halcyon Hot Springs, where luxurious lakeside cabins and soothing pools await. Relax under the stars and soak in the natural hot springs after a fantastic day of cycling.

Day 3 — Enjoy Summit Lake and Nakusp
Today’s ride offers options to suit your energy levels. Cycle along Upper Arrow Lake to the picturesque town of Nakusp, where you’ll take a short break before tackling the gentle 17 km climb to Summit Lake. Here, you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. After a satisfying lunch, enjoy the descent back to Halcyon Hot Springs. Cap the day with a gourmet dinner at the Kingfisher Restaurant and a relaxing soak in the hot pools.

Day 4 — New Denver to Kaslo: Hidden Gems and Epic Descents
The day begins with a short transfer to Summit Lake, where your ride kicks off. Cruise into the charming village of New Denver along the gentle Slocan Valley road. After a coffee and pastry break, climb to Fish Lake for lunch. From there, enjoy a gradual 30 km downhill ride to Kaslo, following an old railway route with a steady, gentle grade. This stretch, surrounded by forests and mountains, is a highlight of the trip. Tonight, explore Kaslo and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant of your choice.

Day 5 — Kaslo to Crawford Bay: Artisan Town Charm
Ride along the stunning shoreline of Kootenay Lake, where light traffic and pristine views set the tone. After lunch near the Balfour Ferry terminal, take a short ferry ride to the east shore. A couple of short climbs lead to an exhilarating descent into Crawford Bay, a quaint artisan village filled with local craftspeople. Explore the town or ride the final stretch to our lakeside lodge for a celebratory group dinner overlooking the West Arm Provincial Park.

Day 6 (Friday) — Creston and Return to Banff
Your final ride takes you along the scenic shores of Kootenay Lake, with plenty of chances to enjoy the serene coves and mountain views. The light traffic and peaceful atmosphere make this a fitting conclusion to your journey. After a relaxing morning, board the van back to Banff, arriving around 6:00 PM with memories to last a lifetime.

Terms & Conditions Policy
Deposit
A $650 CAD deposit (per person) is required when booking. If you are part of an exclusive group booking, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the trip fee is due at the time of booking. The balance is due 90 days prior to the trip.
Cancellation
You may cancel your tour at any time by notifying Rocky Mountain Cycle Tours via email at
rockymountaincycletours@gmail.com.
If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply at the time we receive written notice of your cancellation:
- Until 91 days: $250 CAD
- 90 to 61 days: 25% of the total trip cost
- 60 to 46 days: 50% of the total trip cost
- 45 to 0 days: 100% of the total trip cost
